A somewhat more normal response (than my last one) to JohnReaganNumber1’s video where he wants people to show him their desktop setups.

Sidenotes:
I’ve upgraded the computer from an Athlon64 4200+ with 1 gig of RAM to an Athlon64 6000+ with 4 gigs of RAM. I need to put in a dedicated video card instead of relying on the integrated video the computer came with.

I use 4 Aura Speakers and an Aura Subwoofer. Aura makes excellent speakers for the price. (Or at least they did. These are about 4 years old. I have no idea if they’re even still in business these days.)

Windows Vista Desktop

This is my current setup of my desktop. It is running Windows Vista Ultimate, has an AMD 5000+ Dual Core Processor. And a Gigabyte Motherboard. I have my stereo in the background playing music because the audioswap thing in youtube isnt working for me. So enjoy the video and leave good feedback.

What type of setup to use for new car sub system?

I am buying dual 12" JBL subwoofers in a bandpass box ( http://www.bestbuy.ca/multimedia/products/large/10091896.jpg ) and am wondering what the best type of amp to power it with would be..
Should I go with two mono amps, or a multi channel amp and bridge it? Or is there some better way?
they are 2×4 ohm 1800W power handling max, 300W RMS nominal. (If any of that matters)

Is it safe to hook 2 subwoofers into 1 plugin?

I have a RCA home theater and i plugged in two subwoofers into the place wher you hook up 1 subwoofer (2 cables in each) is it safe?

It is not safe. You're putting too many Ohms to your amp output and your speakers can burn your sub output. Sometimes the amp will shut down itself to let you know that the amp is not strong enough for 8 Ohms when s single speaker should only be 4 Ohms. Try to turn your volume up and you'll see what I'm talking about. I've done that before too.
